Ca Mau fertilizer factory in Binh Dinh has been set up on an area of nearly three hectares with a total investment of VNĐ 120 billion. It has a blending capacity of 50,000 tons of product per year, a packaging capacity of 50,000 tons of product per year, and a storage and trading capacity of approximately 150,000 tons of fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials per year. The project has been applied with high-level automation technology, answering the needs of green producing, energy saving, environmental ensuring and occupational safety standards. Once operating stably, the factory will contribute to supplying high-quality agricultural materials to farmers in Gia Lai and other provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions, to promote the development of high-tech agriculture, while to create more jobs, to increase budget revenue and to enhance the industrial production value for our province.

With the speech at the ceremony, Mr. Deputy Chairman of Gia Lai People's Committee and Director of GEZA emphasized that Gia Lai Province is now focusing on developing into a dynamic economic center of the Central Highlands region. With the provincial agricultural advantages, strategic location connecting East-West and North-South economic corridors and the provincial more-and-more perfect transportation infrastructure system, the execution of the factory is reaching the significant importance in promoting agricultural industrialization, increasing added value in production and completing the agricultural-industrial linkage chain in Gia Lai Province. At the moment, Gia Lai has attracted 23 enterprises investing in the fertilizer production sector with a total investment of over VNĐ 903 billion, a capacity of over 868,000 tons yearly and creating jobs for approximately 1,200 workers. In 2021 – 2025 period, the provincial fertilizer industry is expected to maintain a relatively high growth rate to make a positive contribution to socio-economic development. Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Party Committee, Deputy Chairman of Gia Lai People's Committee and Director of GEZA affirmed that Gia Lai Province will continue to support and create favorable conditions for all enterprises to operate effectively and expand investment, thereby contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development goals of the province.
