PHU GIA RESORT AND SPA: GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY IN NEZ

In the morning of December 19th 2025, in the air of the nationwide commencement, inauguration and technical opening of projects and works to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, Phu Gia Infrastructure Development Investment Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for Phu Gia Resort and Spa Quy Nhon Project at the Area N0 2 (2-2) in Nhon Ly - Cat Tien National Tourism Sea Line of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (NEZ) in Ngo May Commune. The attendants were included Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Deputy Chairman of Gia Lai People's Committee, leaders of Gia Lai Provincial departments, Ngo May Commune and Gia Lai Economic Zone Authority (GEZA).
This is not only an important event marking the beginning of a large-scale commercial, service and tourism project, but also a vivid testament to Gia Lai Provincial determination in realizing the Provincial Plan approved by the Prime Minister. It also affirms the investor's strong commitment to implementing the approved project, contributing to the strong, sustainable and modern development of Gia Lai locality.
Phu Gia Resort and Spa Quy Nhon Project at the Area number 2 (2-2) in Nhon Ly - Cat Tien National Tourism Sea Line of NEZ in Ngo May Commune covers on an area of 40 hectares with a total investment capital of over VNĐ 2,500 billion. This is a relatively large-scale commercial and tourism service project of strategic importance, expected to create a significant shift in attracting domestic and international tourists, contributing to the strong development of tourism in Gia Lai province. With 385 low-story villas and two 200-room hotel buildings, The Project is aimed to be a high-standard Wellness resort complex, focusing on nature experiences and health care services. Sayo Onsen – the centerpiece of the project – is the largest Onsen complex in Gia Lai province, which will be operated by Japanese experts to become a new icon of Onsen-Wellness segment in Central Highland Vietnam. Furthermore, after operation, the project will seamlessly connect tourist destinations along the Nhon Ly - Cat Tien Coastline, such as the Laimian Project, Maia Quy Nhon Beach Resort and urban development in Nhon Hoi New City forming a continuous chain of coastal tourist areas along the Phuong Mai - Nui Ba Tourism Line. This will contribute to diversifying tourism services in the NEZ and boost the local tourism potential.
With the speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Que - Deputy Chairman of Gia Lai People's Committee requested the investor to closely coordinate with the Gia Lai authorities, GEZA and Ngo May commune to complete all procedures in accordance with regulations, to focus on preparing all necessary conditions regarding human resources, financial resources, equipment and to propose the most effective solutions to accelerate the investment, construction and implementation of the project with high quality, safety and environmental protection.
To Gia Lai provincial authorities, it is requested to focus on creating the most favorable conditions for investor, closely monitoring and promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles during project implementation, ensuring that all procedures are carried out quickly, conveniently and in accordance with the law with the slogan of providing maximum service and accompanying businesses.
